Mission statement
The mission of Stepping Stones
Preschool is to provide a high quality education for 3-5 year olds with an
emphasis on parent involvement.
Stepping Stones Preschool is an early
childhood education program designed to nurture the development of the whole
child. Preschool activities are selected to stimulate intellectual,
physical, social, emotional, and pre-academic growth, and promote the child's
abilities in the areas of listening, following directions, concentrating,
remembering, and expressing increasingly complex ideas. Creativity and
self-expression are encouraged to build the child's confidence as a
creator. The emphasis is on process over product.

Forms
Stepping Stones Preschool is a non-profit corporation
and is licensed by the state of Iowa. It is governed by a Board of
Directors which is elected from the general membership.
