Stepping Stones Preschool is staffed by a Director/Teacher and an Assistant
Teacher. Two parents from the Cooperative Plan also assist in the classroom
each day. Often we have students from the University of Iowa observing,
helping, or student teaching in the classroom.
 Nancy
Lilienthal is the Director/Teacher. She has a B.S. Degree in Child
Development with Endorsement 53 (Early Childhood Accreditation) from Iowa State
University. Nancy has a license to teach preschool and kindergarten in
the state of Iowa. Nancy has a 22-year history with Stepping Stones as a
parent, Board member, and teacher.
 Julie
Rhomberg is our Teaching Assistant. She brings 11 years experience
working as a special education associate with the Iowa City schools. She has a
Human Service diploma for NE Iowa Community College.
